The School for Contemporary Dance and Thought invites sponsors to help create an inspiring and enriching experience for students in the Hatchery Young Artist Program.

Since 2015, Hatchery has provided youth ages 10-18 with meaningful access to contemporary dance forms in a supportive, non-competitive environment. Hatchery offers space for young artists to train, create, and perform in a non-traditional, collaborative setting. Teens are also introduced to the professional dance world by working closely with internationally acclaimed guest artists, gaining mentorship, artistic confidence, and real-world experience.
Each Hatchery season culminates in 3 evening-length shows - in June and December.
Hatchery is grounded in values of inclusivity, creativity, curiosity, and collaboration, and prioritizes access through scholarships and affordability initiatives so that financial barriers do not limit participation.

Annual reach and community impact
Hatchery’s work reaches far beyond the studio, engaging young artists, families, and audiences across the region while connecting youth to the broader professional dance field.
  • 30+ student artists ages 10–18
  • 500+ audience members across biannual performances
  • 25+ families directly engaged each season
  • 5 professional faculty members involved with each production
  • 5 nationally and internationally recognized guest artists per year

If you have questions or would like to discuss a custom sponsorship package, please reach out to Bill Kules at [email protected].
