CHARLIE MARKHAM
Charles Markham is a graduate of Goucher College in Baltimore, MD with a B.A in Dance with a concentration in arts administration and choreography. While at Goucher he had the privilege to work with guest artist such as Sean Curran, Jennifer Archibald, Nicholas Leichter, Constance Dinapoli of the Paul Taylor Company, Rodger Belman, and Doug Elkins. In the summer of 2012 Charles was lucky to study abroad in Edinburg, Scotland and London, England where he participated in the International Fringe Festival and trained at the Pinapple Studios and MiddleSex University. Intensive training includes the Uchenna Dance Summer School (2012), Sankofa Dance Project (2008), Goucher College Summer Arts Institute (2008), Point Park International Summer Dance Program (2007), and Camp 3T (2005). Charles has been teaching contemporary modern, jazz, hip hop, and choreography for the past 5 years in Western Mass and Maryland. He was honored to be the co president of the Goucher College Dance Team while in his senior year at Goucher College. He is currently a substitute dance teacher at the Pioneer Valley Performing Arts High School and Dance Instructor at LHQ Dance Force and Shooting Star Dance Center. |
