SCDT INTERNSHIPAs an intern, you work closely with the Artistic and Executive Directors and administrative team to keep the organization running smoothly. You work from 1-10 hours per week, depending on your interests and schedule.
Administrative interns will learn the daily operations of running a small arts nonprofit focused on dance education and performance. Working closely with the Executive Director and the administrative team, interns will play a vital role in ensuring the organization runs smoothly while gaining hands-on experience in nonprofit management, community engagement, and arts development. Interns will typically have a primary summer project and assist with other responsibilities. These are tailored to the interns interests and skills. Technical and production interns provide support for performances at SCDT. They help with performance documentation (video, stills), work lighting/sound board during performances, assist with regular technical maintenance and performance support - typically front of house/box office.
