SCDT Presents: CONTACT IMPROVISATION SPRING 2024 SERIES- OPEN LEVEL

8 WEEK SERIES! with Sarah Konner, Jen Polins, and Gabrielle Revlock!
Wednesday evenings: 6-8 PM
March 13- May 1
at BOMBYX in FLORENCE MA

**CLASSES ARE NOW AT BOMBYX in FLORENCE!**

We offer a space for dancers, choreographers, movers and curious playful humans to join us in practical physical studies and improvisational structures in the practice of contact improvisation. In conversation with Steve Paxton 2022: “The proposal began from the questions, what happens when there are two followers and no leaders?” and a quote from Danny Lepkoff in 2003: “Contact Improvisation is a duet dance form that creates a frame for observing the functioning of the body’s reflexes and our innate abilities to respond to the unusual physical circumstances of the touch of a partner and the floor on any surface of the body.” Our shared practice will build agency and safety while expanding our capacities for imaginative experimentation in improvisation and choreographic process.  Open to all who want to train together in a supportive environment. Teachers Gabrielle Revlock and Sara Konner.
