ELLIE GOUDIE-AVERILL
Originally from the Midwest, Ellie Goudie-Averill is a dance artist and educator who works with dancers of all ages on technique and performance. She currently teaches all levels of ballet at Connecticut College, and has served as a dance professor and guest lecturer at Temple University, Bucknell University, University of Kansas, University of Iowa, Stockton University, and Franklin & Marshall College. She has danced professionally for notable choreographers/companies such as Susan Rethorst, Lucinda Childs, Bronwen MacArthur, Group Motion Dance Theater, and is currently working on a project with Sara Shelton Mann. She is a regular collaborator and performer with choreographer Tori Lawrence, frequently performing in dance film projects and site-specific works. She has toured with Tori Lawrence + Co. nationally and internationally, including residencies in Sweden, Norway, and Budapest. Ellie graduated with honors from the University of Kansas and received her MFA from the University of Iowa. |
