Class enrollment will be limited to 6 kiddos total.

Creative Dance-Making will include creative dance games, stretches and puzzles as a warm-up for our bodies and minds.
We will then work on a variety of time, space, and rhythm concepts in a fun and memorable way and build a final performance together
using what we've learned, along with our collective and individual imaginations.

ELLIE GOUDIE-AVERILL
Originally from the Midwest, Ellie Goudie-Averill is a dance artist and educator who works with dancers of all ages on technique, creative practice, and performance. Since graduating with her MFA in Dance Performance from the University of Iowa in 2007, she has served as a professor at Temple University, Bucknell University, and Franklin & Marshall College, and as the Associate Director of Dance at the Lawrence Arts Center. Most recently, she taught Ballet at Connecticut College, and created a new work outdoors for ConnColl students in the Fall of 2020. Ellie has danced professionally for Group Motion, Susan Rethorst, Lucinda Childs, Bronwen MacArthur, and Stone Depot, which she co-directs with Beau Hancock. She is a regular collaborator and dancer with Tori Lawrence + Co. in dance films and site-specific works. |
